Laburnum Netball Club is a graded community netball club that was founded in 2000. For the 2024 Autumn season, the club has 16 teams competing across 17 sections in the Whithorse Netball Association competition.
Teams train at Laburnum Primary School or Sportlink in Vermont South. Games are played either on Monday (GO) or Saturdays at Sportlink.
NetSetGo
Woolworths NetSetGO is a starter program for kids aged five to 10. It provides a chance to learn the basics.
Laburnum Netball Club runs a NetSetGo program each year.
The cost of the program is $120, included in this cost is:

Grading and Registration

Grading
LNC plays in a graded competition and thus is a grading club. Our aim is to form teams that have a balanced group of players of similar ability and age levels.
Grading takes place annually and every effort is made to place players in a team that provides them with competition, success, an opportunity to develop, and a high level of enjoyment. The success of a team in one year does not always ensure they will remain together the following year.
We urge all parents and players to be objective and reasonable in their expectations and try to encourage them to embrace new opportunities in their chosen sport.
Registration
Registration is required by every player for each new season.
Season Team Fees are set by the LNC Committee prior to the beginning of each season. Annual Netball Victoria Membership fees are as prescribed by Netball Victoria. Netball Victoria fees will be paid by LNC for all club umpires and coaches (playing and non-playing).
There is an expectation that junior players attend training on a weekly basis as set by the coach.
